"While being taught under the amazing teacher Megan Ashley I learned so many singing techniques. I was able to boost my existing voice via learning proper breathing techniques as well as how to belt, yelp and anchor, boosting confidence early on. Then I was able to unlock new types of voice such as mix and, controlled, light voice. Meg, as my teacher, always knew what songs to choose for me that were challenging, while also perfectly understanding my own strengths and weaknesses; a key example of this is when I auditioned for drama schools for my further education, Meg helped me choose songs that would show off my voice and practiced with me both in and out of lessons to make sure I was ready AND helped me record a lot of my audition peices. Meg taught him how to get the best from his voice safely, an appreciation of different techniques, and the confidence to take those skills and build on them when tackling songs outside of his work with her.
